Do not use this tour company!

My friend and I traveled to Australia and New Zealand with GCT. We contracted bed bugs at the first hotel we stayed in (DoubleTree, Cairns). The tour company dismissed our complaints and concerns. We had to do laundry, purchase medication and visit the doctor upon our return to the states. GCT refused to compensate us for the room, damages and the toll this took on our trip. They blamed us for contracting bed bugs. Their customer service is the worst. They do not care about their clients. I will never use this company again and strongly suggest that you avoid them!

I think you don't so much "contract" bedbugs as adopt them...

The hotel is the one responsible for the bed bugs, not Grand Circle. You should go after the hotel for compensation.
