Fan 220v or dual volt for travel

I have been searching for a small desk top fan to travel with that is 220V but cannot find one (don't really want to use converter all night). I have collected lots of other 220V or dual voltage travel items over the years but for some reason, I can't find a fan. I sleep with a ceiling fan and hotels in Europe don't have them, therefore I need to bring my own. I have tried the small battery fan but the batteries have a 7 to 8 hour life and I don't want to bring a case of batteries. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Wait until you are in Europe. Then it will be very easy to find a 220-only fan.

I thought about that but I wasn't sure how easy it would be to find one. I am going in the fall.

what country(s)? Then we can tell you the names of shops/chains . . .

BUT -- I would re-post the question on the Europe forum.

There are things called rechargeable batteries. Eneloop NiMH batteries, for example last longer than alkaline batteries, which I assume are what you thought you needed. The charger that comes with some of their packages is dual voltage.
