Economy travel to Turkey late November

My partner and I have been wanting to fly to Bodrum or Dalaman in Turkey. Work and family have made this impossible until now and we have a wee window of opportunity (24-29/30 November). However, we need to travel on a restricted budget and this seems nearly impossible this time of year. Any guidance on travel, accommodation and what to expect welcome. We are resourceful and prefer local flavour and culture to finding our own abroad. Thank you.

I'm replying to myself because I forgot to say we would be travelling from Britain.

Welcome to Fodors lbgk4. You've posted this on the "travel tips" Forum which is really more for general travel topics, not destination-specific questions.

See the 'Change Forum' pull down menu? There are forums for all the different continents and Turkey is covered in Europe. You need to re-post this over on the Europe Forum tagged for Turkey. Many, MANY times more folks will see your thread on that board.

But I can make a recommendation here for a very nice and not-so-expensive hotel in Bodrum: http://www.bodrumsuhotel.com/ (See http://wilhelmswords.com/eur2006/index.html - Turkey Transit for my visit to Bodrum.)
