Ebags-- Sort by Airline (for Carry-On's)

I posted this on another forum, but thought it would be helpful for travelers looking for luggage-related advice on this forum too.

Ebags has a portion of their website that's broken down by airline and offers approved suggestions for carry-on luggage from their inventory. Here's the link: http://www.ebags.com/info/media/inde...=carry_on_reqs.

I'll be flying with Ryanair later this summer, which is how I happened upon this information, and I thought it would be useful for other travelers too. If this is old news, I apologize :)

Very nice of them to do that. Thanks for the tip!

Saw this today. Thanks for the heads-up.

This is a great tool, but be sure to double check the airline's website as well once you find a bag you like. The airline may change their guidelines and who knows how often ebags checks for changes to what each airline allows.

I think it is important to remember that just because a "carry on" bag is within the size limits posted on an airline's website, there is no guarantee that the bag will fit in your specific plane's overhead storage bins, particularly on some of the RJs.

Useful. I did a quick look at KLM on the list and found they say a weight limit of 6 lbs instead of 26 lbs which is what it actually is, plus the dimensions are wrong. So do check your airline's website too!

In addition to lack of accuracy, the links lead to their sale products - mostly tote bags. Lufthansa has a 21 inch length limit, but the one carry-on that was recommended was a 22 inch bag.

I think hetismij gave good advice - check with your airline! Then check some of discussions re:luggage.
