1)Do you travel with a kit like this?

I always put together my own group of first aide items. I take acetaminophen, pepto bismal tablets, immodium, gas X, neosporin, bandaids, bug spray, calamine lotion, contact lens supplies, extra contacts, a small scissors (in our packed luggage), nail clippers, tweezers and safety pins that I always keep pinned onto one of our toiletries bags. If we are going to be outside somewhere that I think will trigger our allergies, I'll also take along some zyrtec. I usually just go through our medicine cabinet and take a little of each of our over the counter meds.

2)Do you have a traveler's medical book you take with you?
No.

3)What is the most often used remedy in your luggage?
Bandaids and bug spray

4)What first aid item would you not travel without?

I always make sure I take a variety of OTC stomach medications because other countries may not have the brands that we are familiar with and if you need them it's usually an emergency. Extra contacts are a favorite hint of mine because once I lost a contact on a small vacation in the US and had to buy an emergency pair. If I would have been in a foreign country it wouldn't have been as easy to get a replacement lens.
