It's obvious you do not travel to the same kinds of places I do. Believe me I know how to act appropriately for my surroundings.

Perhaps you don't use a coin purse because you think you can use a debit or credit card everywhere and don't carry local currency?

A better question is: is there a better currency conversion app than XE?

My wife found the right app : me.
I memorize the rate and convert during holidays. I don't bother miscalculating a few %.

XE, hands down. Preload the currencies you'll be using on your trip. It also works offline, using the rate from the time you last used the app.

I use XE as well. Hasn't let me down yet.
