Huh? You don't even tell us where this tour takes you and you're looking for tips? There are a number of countries in Europe and the tips for all of them would vary.
Should we be telling you about seasick preventatives if you aren't taking a boat? Or warning you about food problems in Russia if you are staying in Western Europe.
Sorry, but I just don't get the point of this post.

I think on a tour like that they will pretty much have things laid out for you, what you are supposed to do each day. I think that's why most people choose an organized tour, well... because it's all organized for them!

Hi estar,

I don't have any first hand knowledge of a contiki style tour, but if you can provide some additional info about where you're travelling, etc. someone here should have some insight for you.

Contiki is a synonym for sex / drunkedness / general debauchery - think Spring Break in a bus (or Club 18-30 for European viewers)

I went on a Contiki this summer, and it while it was high-energy and geared toward a younger crowd, I wouldn't agree with alanRow that it was "general debauchary." I got a good mix of that "spring break" atmosphere while also being able to soak up the European culture that I encountered. Though I got to go to some amazing clubs at night, I most enjoyed that I got to visit numerous art museums in France, view glass blowing and leather making demonstations in Italy, ride up to Mt. Pilatus in Switzerland and go mountain biking and white water rafting in Austria. I'd say that any trip is what you make of it. If you want to go out and party the whole time, so be it. But Contiki also gave me the opportunity to see the things I've waited my whole life to see and do things I'd never have had the chance to do otherwise.

Contiki specializes in tours/ vacations for the 18 - 35 set. I worked with someone who went on a few of their tours and really liked them.

I went on a tour of Ireland with Contiki when I was 18 (1998). I barely remember anything I saw, and I came home with Mono. Enough said.
