Connecting flight

I am taking a connecting flight from Mumbai to Venice via Munich. The duration between 2 flights is only 55 minutes. Do you think it is advisable to take this and is the time sufficient between the two flights

That would be a bit tight for me to take a chance, but you should post on the Europe-Germany tag for advice from people who know the Munich airport.

if it is the same carrier odds are you will be ok

otherwise minimum 2 hours between international flights.

or to save just fly to MUC and train cheaply down to Venice

very pretty ride through the mountains... seat61.com

That's too close for me on international legs. Arriving & departing from the same terminal or different? I agree to repost in the Europe forum.

Another consideration - if you miss your connection, are there later flights to Venice that same day? Sometimes I will risk a tight connection like that if there are additional flights I could get on if my plane is late.

I know MUC airport. If you arrive and depart from the same terminal (there are 2), I think it's possible to reach your connecting flight. Hopefully you don't have a delay.
