No, I don't remember how much the bag weighed but wasn't too heavy packed. The bag is actually a sport bag to hold downhill ski boots. In Europe these are sold at Stadium stores and cost less than $10. Maybe there are even 2 for 10! I use it because it is THE perfect size for overhead compartments.

Just wanted to update on my REI Durangos. I had to take my 86-year-old mother on an airtrip south and back. Believe me, I needed hands-free, comfy and cool. In my Kuhl Durangos, my Kindle Paperwhite and my huge Samsung Note fit in my pockets, along with keys, ID, passes, and tips for the people who were wheeling her through security.
When I got off the plane both ways, the female flight attendants stopped me and asked, "What are those? They are AMAZING--and they look good!"

Time for a Kuhl Durango update: Totally comfortable. I wore them almost daily on our 2 1/2 weeks in Italy. Wish I'd brought two pair! I had a pair of Capris I didn't need but made sense because you can get a hot spell in October. One pair black stretchy jeans ended up feeling like they were falling off. My husband also liked his Kuhl pants, but the Durangos are better because of the zipper pockets for whatever ticket I currently needed.
I got an Ebags TLS 22" bag to replace my old Rick Steves and was satisfied with it. Instead of buying expensive packing cubes I confined my underwear and socks in a zippered lingerie bag from Target for less than $2.
My daily purse is a gray LeSportsac Deluxe Everday bag which has lots of zippered pockets, is lightweight, and accepts whatever I put in it.

Love to read packing lists too. But remember, just because you didnt wear certain things on your trip, had there been different weather, you might well have. On our month-long trip to France last September, I didnt wear most of the "warm/hot weather clothing" that I brought because it was cooler than forecast. However, over that period time and even shorter ones, satellite weather is not always accurate. In Europe, better to bring more, clothing is very expensive. Here in the States, you can always find a Marshalls or TJMaxx to carry you through.

I am bumping this because it may be useful to others. Update on Kuhls Durango: REI is not carrying them this year, who know why. I ordered a new pair from Zappos. Important to know that in their size listing 30 is Short; 32 is Regular. I first ordered the short by mistake and the waist to crotch distance was also short. Thank goodness the 32 Regular is the same as my old pair.

I like the looks of the Durangos... two zippered pockets, the way they transform into capris. If you're looking for travel leggings, check out Lululemon Pace Rival Crop. I lived in my solid black pair on a recent trip to Australia, NZ and Cambodia. I could wear them for days without washing, and the five pockets were functional. They transition well between active and dressier wear, and are quick drying. Not to mention lightweight.

Thanks, packinglighttravel, for the tip on the Pace Rival Crop. I don't usually wear leggings because there are not enough pockets. This style does seem to serve needs.
I have not been able to travel overseas that much recently. My time has often, though, been spent on a bus or a tram to get to my elderly mother. I then must take her out in a wheelchair, usually to some sort of doctor appointment, trying to manage doors and a separate set of keys and papers and credit cards and a cell phone at the same time.

Those Pace Rivals are cute but I am much too old to be walking around town in them! Sure I could wear a dress over, but then I'd have to scooch underneath to get to the pockets. And we all know dresses have no pockets! Plus I'd have to buy the dresses.
