Boy, you're luckyCosta Rica honeymoon season starts in July and ends in October. April-June is quite pleasant. But if you want to hideaway from the tourist hordes, you might consider the off-peak season.

All my best and wish you a happy conjugal life!!

went in march/april last year and it was amazing. Depending on what parts you are visiting, expect rain, after all it is the rain forest! just a bit of info. the peace lodge was the best place i have ever been, really made our honeymoon!

April is peak dry season and should be wonderful--a bit hot on the Pacific Coast, very nice in the mountains. Rains will begin in May, but it's still nice. June will begin to become verdant, and not too rainy to be enjoyable. Definately consider a mix of beach and mountain locations; check out the Caribbean coast and mountain hideaways like Inn at Coyote Mountain.

December to May is the relatively dry period, but avoid the Christmas and Easter holidays because it is crowded and resorts are full. Personally, I think January is wonderfu! Costa Rica really is a year-round destination.

Best Regards,
Julia
