Abeo is the store brand of The Walking Company. and yes they are very good. I like their sandals even better than their shoes.
I have been a size twelve since like forever but their 12’s were huge. A size 11 did the trick. Strange but it’s only a number. The fit is really good. |
I take a different shoe sizes in Obeo :-) I'm typically a 9-1/2 but in their sturdy/comfy flip flop style I'm a 9. In other sandals and shoes I'm a 10. Even the clerk at Walking Co. didn't believe me, but I know my feet, and have had lots of pairs of their shoes or more often sandals.

Even the 11.5 was too big. In any case they are quite good! |
Taking into account my own experience, the most comfortable walking shoes for Europe are Skechers Performance Women's Go Step Lite. They are the best

If you don't like Skechers style choose Tom’s Classic canvas shoes. I’ve travelled with these shoes extensively.

I wear good walking sandals from Skechers. They are the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever had, and they look nice enough to transition into dinner in a nice restaurant. They are often the ONLY shoes I take on a trip.
