Autism/Disability Travel

My adult son, who has autism, would like to travel with friends. Of the companies I looked at, only one seems like a good fit.
He likes that they stay in houses instead of hotels and the video chatting that they do before taking the trip. Has anyone gone with them or other similar escorted tours for people with intellectual disabilities? What way the key point you used in deciding what company to use?

Maybe you can Google reviews of the tour group? Posters on Fodor's are mostly independent travelers.
