Ask for advices for 10 days trip in Southeast Asia
Hi everyone!
I'm new comer here and really need help
I'm planning to travel around Southeast Asia for 10 days with my wife. We want to travel on 1st of December.
I think we will visit Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar
I will flight from Australia.
Can any one experienced advise on:
1. Where should we start our itinerary?
2. where can't i miss?
3. 10 days are enough or not?
4. Where can i book tours?
5. cool place to stay?
6. what should we prepare?
Thank all so much.

Check the drop down above left and repost in the Asia forum. I also suggest that your post is too vague. do a little research your self on what you want to see and do, budget etc. and you will get much more relevant responses. For now, 10 days is nowhere near enough!

I agree, if you only have 10 days (meaning 11 nights on the ground in SE Asia) choose one of those countries. It won't be enough to explore even one of those countries, but you'll get a taste so you can plan better for your next trip.
When you go to the Asia forum, choose "View by Country" and read the trip repots on the countries that interest you most.

Go to Hanoi, hang out there for a few days. Then a couple days cruising around Ha Long bay. Go for a walk up in Sapa, if that appeals. Take a first-class overnight train or fly to Danang. Taxi to Hoi An for few days on the beach and wandering around the heritage section of the town. Maybe a quick trip over to Hue to see the tombs and check out the city. Or visit one of the islands off Hoi An. Ten days, sorted.
Or similar in Cambodia OR in Laos. But not all three. Pick the one that appeals most and focus on it.

I'm dreaming of traveling to Southest Asia and planning to do this next summer. I've done many researches on internet and read some guidebooks about these destinations. I see 10 days for 4 countries aren't enough. 10 days for only one country (or 2 countries maximum) are more reasonable. There is so many things to see and to do in these countries (historical, cultural, outdoor activities, food, etc.).
