What has this got to do with solo travel? This travel agency sells standard tours and cruises on a standard double-occupancy basis with the standard single-occupancy penalty. Am I missing something?

Just curious to see if anyone has had any experience with the company thats all.

Globalgirl,
I have not used this website myself. I did look thru the site and most prices seemed fairly reasonable. I dont know if you are planning solo travel, I assume you are.
Maybe a good idea would be to post in the forum associated with the areas you are most interested in visiting as this forum gets little traffic so far.
Goos luck.

Friendly planet and smart tours sell the same trips. My family, friends and I were going to Croatia independently, but they all backed out. I was going to stay home, but then I read a trip review for Croatia, with Friendly planet/Smart tours, so I signed up. I had a good time. There were some other singles on the trip, but every body was friendly, regardless of who they were with. I did look around to see which trips didn`t have a big single supplement. They are a good company.

Just got back from Friendly Planet tour to Vietnam and Cambodia. Good tour and reasonably priced. Met alot of people who had travelled extensively with Friendly Planet and Smartours (they are somehow related) - all had favorable reviews.
