Getting. On a horse!

To get on a horse don't you start from the left side?

You may well be correct. Wish someone had told me that before!

Hoping the next one doesn't involve a lion, leopard or Cape Buffalo.

I'm normally clumsy, I think, but thankfully that just isn't the case when I'm traveling. There was an instance that I remember to this day though because it ended up with me laughing too, and that was when I fell on my face while exploring Bayon. Uneven floors are not my friend and I slipped. My friends (and what friends they were) laughed at my expense, but I eventually found the situation funny too, must have been a sight to see. But not many things like that have happened. Since then I've bought at least some things from my first aid kit like band-aids and gauze. During roadtrips, having a dashcam helps for documentation, there are ones available in for less than two, one hundred dollars like on this source but I'm not sure what compromises you'll have for going cheaper. I don't drive much though and generally stay away from adrenaline pumping activities, so that keeps me safe for the most part.
