51st Birthday Trip
 

HELP! I'm celebrating my 51st birthday in Jan. for what seems ever, I've taken a trip for my birthday to a warm or sunny destination - in the US and foreign. In 2016 I celebrated my 50th birthday in Costa Rica with 25 friends- it was amazing. As you can imagine after 50 years, I'm running low on place to go for 5 days - I would prefer someplace sunny, warm, a beach would be nice! I'm contemplating Cartagena Colombia - Any anyone give me pointers or maybe suggest a great place to fly to for 5 days from Atlanta, GA.

Been to Negril Jamaica yet? It's easy to get to from Atlanta, so 5 days would be enough for a nice quick trip.

Delta flys to Aruba direct from Atlanta and Aruba is warm in January! Not as exotic as Columbia, but it is a place where you can sit on the beach and get great food.

I spent my honeymoon in Belize and highly recommend it. Not too far to fly, affordable, and you can do beach and or mainland depending on what you're up for.
