Why did you delete my UNESCO thread in the Lounge

Suggestion box:

I started the same thread about UNESCO in three places.

Lounge
United States
Travel Ideas

Guess which got the most traffic and replies?

The Lounge. Before you deleted it, it had 8 or maybe ten replies - more than the other two places combined.

You need to rethink your "don't post about travel in the Lounge" because it's a stupid policy.

what you could do, since you are admins of this site, is to replicate the Q in the lounge to other places on Fodors forum, which is what I already did for you. I posted it in three places. The two travel places, as mentioned, didn't get as many replies. You deleted some interesting travel replies when you deleted my thread.

Or what you could do is give it a rest and let the people in the Lounge, most of whom actually are travelers, answer travel questions. It is, after all, about conversations.

Thank you for leaving it there and not deleting it.

Sorry for the harsh post.

flygirl~ i think it's because the profile pages don't accurately reflect all that you posted. i've stopped going in thru my profile page like i used to. because it isn't accurate as to my total activity.
