Yellow Fever Vaccination Clinic in Salta?
Back on Sept 1st, we started an 8-month RTW trip & pinpricks with so many vaccines. And yet, we didn't get yellow fever. Now it looks like there's a pretty good chance we'll need it for visas into Bolivia. We'll be in Salta, Argentina prior to entering Bolivia. I've googled but with no success. Any ideas where a family of four can obtain yellow fever vaccinations in Salta? thank you!!

Although we have YF vaccinations and certificates we were not asked to produce them on entering Bolivia. We got the vaccinations when we lived in Africa several years ago and, despite having travelled extensively since then, we have not been asked to produce them once.
If you are crossing the border at El Quiaca/ Viilazon , I seriously doubt you will be asked as the ch is there are pretty cursory.

Crellston, thank you! I know I've made notes from the info you've posted about this area but can't recall when you were there? I've seen on posts that the border process is now computerized and they do ask for vaccination proof. Can you imagine a day of travel with two tired tweens only to be turned away? Thus, my dilemma. While I do not want more vaccines, I am intent on doing this to avoid a potential border issue. My mother, who is an avid traveler and haunts these forums, found a tip from a few years ago saying you can get gratis yellow fever shots in Salta so I'm going to wing it and see what can be done when we get there. However, if anyone has an actually clinic name or address, it would be most helpful. Gracias from beautiful Bariloche!

We were in Bolivia July/ August last year and crossed the border from Peru via Puno / Copacabana. I fully understand the desire to avoid any potential issues at the border. ( BTW be prepared to queue, we were passing in the other direction but the were queuing for ages in the hot sun!)
To give an idea of how lax the immigration procedures are there - we met TWO couples in. Uyuni who completely missed the immigration office when coming from Argentina and didn't even go through immigration at the border. Their guides had to take them into the police station in Uyuni where they were unconcerned and just stamped their passports without comment even though they had entered the country a week previously.
Sorry I can't help with an address. You best bet is to either go to a major hospital in Salta or ask at your accomodatio.
Good luck,
