Where to book the Salkantay trek?

Hi guys,

Because the Inca trail is pretty much full until August, I would like to do the Salkantay trek. Does anyone know a good place where I can book this? I prefer a safe qualified agency because I know many agencies aren't qualified for tours like this.

Thanks in advance!

I'd look at the same big agencies that are also certified to go to Machu Picchu.

It depends what style of trek you would like but we are doing in May with Mountain Lodges of Peru their Lares trek. They also have Salkantay treks. www.mountainlodgesofperu.com.

Hi Anna,

Congrats on your upcoming trip! Salkantay has a lot of advantages - it's less crowded than the Inca Trail, and you have the option of taking a longer trek.

Check out the following options for booking a trek: http://www.anywhereperu.com/destinat...y-peak-program

laurie_ann, we did Mountain Lodges of Peru's Salkantay trek exactly a year ago. It was a phenomenal trip.

Hi Anna,

I would recommend Pure! Peru to book the salkantay trek! You can find more information on http://www.pure-colombia.com/peru/
