Where should we add one extra day Sacred Valley or Cusco?

We will be visiting Peru in May 2010. Two full days to visit Sacred Valley, one overnight in Aqua Calientes to visit MP, then two full days in Cusco.
We have one extra day available and wonder if we should add it to the Cusco or Sacred Valley portion of our trip.

We will have a guide in the Sacred Valley for two days and one day in Cusco, then a day on our own in Cusco.

This extra day will also be on our own. We do enjoy walking in the countryside. Our hotel is in Ollantaytambo for three nights.

Would love some advice.

We already have two full days of guided tours in the Sacred Valley with planned visits to Pisac market and ruins, Ollantaytambo ruins, Chincheros, Maras and Moaray, Awanacancha.
Are we missing anything in the Sacred Valley?

What about Salinas (the salt pans) ? That's usually combined with the Moray and Chinchero visit.

KB Tours in Ollantaytambo offers trekking tours. You could check with them to see anything of interest.

I would stay one night at the hotel right in Machu Picchu, it means you can be there after the crowds have left and before they arrive in the morning. It is magical, though hugely expensive. Otherwise it seems to me you are hitting all the spots in the Sacred Valley.
