Weather in Argentina?
 

My husband I are starting to plan a late Fall trip to Argentina. Right now we are thinking Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Salta. I would rather go in October, but it looks like we might have better weather in November. Any thoughts from Argentina travelers? Thanks!

That would be our spring. Both October and Nov. should be great, but it should be warmer in Nov., being late spring.

Argentina is wide and the weather in the whole country is very varied. But in the NW, I can give you the weather forecast in advance witn a 1% of margin for a misktake...The rains start in December. Sometimes one rain in November, but very rare. The days are sunny but it cools down at night.

Our first trip to BsAs was in November. We were there for Thanksgiving (US holiday that is) and had our first taste of the incredible beef. Weather was very nice, temperate and comfortable. It's a wonderful city. Enjoy!

I am considering a trip to Argentina in 2013. I'll use FF miles for the tickets and now is the time to try for a seat 11 months from now, the soonest I can book award tickets.

I'd be on the ground two weeks or so spending time in BA, Salta/NW area, Iguazu Falls. I can go anytime. Weather wise, would sometime Feb.-April or Oct.-Nov. have the most comfortable weather? I don't want very hot or very cold. I'm not a skier and cannot do any horseback riding due to allergies.

Susiesan - Personally I would go with Oct/Nov. During the Argentine summer (Dec-March) BA can be very hot and humid, while their springtime is quite comfortable. I've traveled there in Sept., Oct. and Nov. the past few years. March or April would be cooler than Feb. since it would be autumn.

I found Cordoba province to be the hottest last Sept. It was already hitting low 90's, very warm for early spring. My Argentine friends didn't expect it to be so hot either.

NW was beautiful in Sept. - sunny, light jacket needed.

Iguazu is always warm and humid, visited the past two years (Sept.) and it was sunny, humid and mid-80's.
