WARNING Machu Picchu Limits Capacity to 2500 in Effect
 

The officials in charge of Machu Picchu have put capacity limits in to effect.

If you are traveling in high season BUY YOUR TICKETS ON LINE AND IN ADVANCE.

If you are climbing Huayna Picchu you buy your combined ticket at 150 soles, and for MP alone it is still 126.

There is also a call center if you cannot negotiate the website which is largely in Spanish.

You cannot buy child or student tickets online at this time.

Thanks for putting this up! I am very nervous- I leave for Peru tonight with plans to go to Machu Picchu on Monday. Our tour guide called us this morning telling us he needed to purchase our tickets. I hope it's not an issue!
