Visa Confusion!
Hi fellow SA travellers!
I am travelling to Brazil in December for a few days and being Australian, I need a tourist visa. I have never applied for a visa before and was wondering if anyone has used the company Visa Connect and feedback on their services, prices etc. Or if there is different visa companies which are better. Any help would be appreciated! :) Sammy |
There's no need to use a visa company, contact the Brazilian embassy in Canberra, information below:
http://camberra.itamaraty.gov.br/pt-br/ |
Those visa companies are an expensive ripoff.
Just look on the embassy website for their requirements, call them if you have questions, and follow their instructions. You'll have your visa in no time. |
Thank you! I didn't realise I could go straight thru the embassy! :)

You can't for certain.
The Brazilian Embassy in Canberra's jusridiction area for Consular services only deals with people who live in: Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australi, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, Solomon Islands. Their site has very little visa information. The Consulate General of Brazil in Sydney deals with residents of NSW, QLD, NT and some countries and islands of the Pacific. http://sydney.itamaraty.gov.br/en-us/ The checklist of documents for tourist visa is here: http://sistemas.mre.gov.br/kitweb/da...st%20Vitur.pdf And complete application information for tourist visa is here: http://sistemas.mre.gov.br/kitweb/da...IST%20VISA.pdf |
