Valid Brazil Visa but in expired passport?

My daughter has a 5 year Brazilian Visa which is still valid. The U.S. passport it is in is expired. I am thinking she can carry both passports (expired and current) with her, but I wouldn't want her to be turned away by the airline or upon arrival. Does anyone have experience with this situation and know if it's ok to use the Visa from the old passport?
Thank you!

Go to this ICE website and look under question 2B. It appears the visa in an expired passport can still be used with a current passport.

as long as you have a new valid NOT expired passport

you will be fine with the visa

Thank you Randy and qwovadis for your help. FYI, she got through with no problem, carrying both passports.
