Trip to Antarctic

My wife and I are researching an Antarctica expedition. Does anyone have info on a way that I can book an all-inclusive trip to Antarctica that departs from either NY or Atlanta.

I'm looking for travel in either the first 2 weeks of January 2013 or March 2013.

Also, what should we estimate for airfare US to Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires to Ushuaia?

Thanks.

You can easily depart from Atlanta to Buenos Aires on Delta. There are many cruise operators who can arrange everything for you. It may be helpful to search under Antarctica and review the trip reports. I'm traveling with Lindblad Expeditions on the National Geographic Explorer Expedition vessel December 2012. Depending on class of travel, fares are ranging anywhere from $1400 to $6000 RT during the December timeframe. The cost of the Ushuaia airfare is included in my National Geographic total package cost--I'm not sure of the actual cost.
Hope this helps--Happy Planning!

We traveled on the Clipper Adventurer with Quark Expeditions in March of this year and highly recommend it.

We were already in Buenos Aires - our airfare to Ushuaia was about $250 one way....but Quark can book the entire airfare portion for you from NY.

I recently booked through OAT Travel/Grand Circle for next winter. One of my friends has used them on several trips including Patagonia and really liked them. They will book your entire trip including your airfare to South America if you desire. I opted to use frequent flyer miles to Buenos Aires. So the tour picks up in Buenos Aires for me.
