Travel with Children to Galapagos

I'm looking for anyone with experience traveling with young children, age range 6-12, to the Galapagos. Either specifically with the National Geographic Expeditions (Islander or Endeavor) or another expedition. Is this a family/kid-friendly experience?

Sorry, no direct reply, but I have the same question and am also interested in possible replies. Planning our trip to Galapagos with my daughter (9yo) around February/March 2017.

I just booked our trip with Ecoventura, which has family designated boats/travel dates. My son will be 9 at the time. He's the youngest on the boat, but they take kids even younger. They have 2 guides per max of 20 people and kid friendly activities, food, etc. I did a ton of research and this boat has extremely good reviews for a family trip.

Sorry to change the subject on you, but I am interested in your Cuba trip. Did you use Pototo/Yanaika and, if so, were you pleased with your experience?

Sorry, just saw this. We actually decided to wait to go to Cuba until our son is a little older. the more I looked into, the more I realized he probably wouldn't enjoy the trip very much- too adult and too many long car rides. We're going to the Galapagos instead!

I did it with EcoAventura also and was great. I did it with my little grandsun. Is my favorite place. Enjoy!
