Travel from Cusco to Tacna by bus
 

Hello! I've been trying online on cruzdelsur to find a bus or connect a route from Cusco to Tacna to cross into Chile and make my way to Santiago. I can't find anything from Cusco to Tacna so I need your help! How do I get to Tacna from Cusco??

We took that route a few years via Arequipa. No hardship as it is a great city in which to spend a few days. From what I recall , the journey takes around six hours to Tacna where you change buses and go through the border crossing on to Arica which is the main terminus for buses going south.

Having done this route in both directions, I don't recall hever havering seen buses direct from. Cusco to Tacna.

If you have time, another more scenic route, if you are happy going through Bolivia would be Puno- La Paz - Uyuni cross into Chile at San Pedro de Atacama and get the main bus from Calama

I took the bus from Puno to Tacna which was an easy trip. Then. cab to Arica.
