Travel agents for Brazil

I've searched the forum and could only find one travel agency recommendation for Brazil. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Marija,

I'm exchanging positive emails with Elizabeth Sanders at Tropical Nature Travel, http://www.tropicalnaturetravel.com

Elizabeth is very responsive to email and the website has a reasonable range of accommodation and tours. TNT seems very willing to customise and make suggestions based on travellers interests.

You could also try Pantanal tours, they have a great deal of information on their website, www.pantanaltours.co.

I have tried in vain to contact Focus Tours www.focustours.com but emails and messages left on their answering machine have been unsuccessful. I will keep trying as I would like to see some sample itineraries.

Happy planning,

Pol.

Open Door is also a possibility. I've contacted them a couple of times and have seen good comments about them. International Expeditions does group trips or independent itineraries.

I used Focus with outstanding success, but at times had trouble reaching them by phone or email.

Conde Nast Traveler has a list of the "128 World's Top Travel Specialists" - the list is divided into regions of the world. Here is the Brazil page:
