Transportation from Cusco to Puno
 

We would like to go from Cusco directly to Puno without going back to Lima either by air or bus. Is this possible? Would you recommend the bus and how long is the trip via bus?

The bus is about eight hours if you take one of the tourist-class buses. Inka Express is one. They charge $30 one way and make a few brief sightseeing/rest stops along the way.

Star Peru flies from Juliaca to Lima. One way approx $100.

By direct bus takes 7 hours aprox, there are many bus companies in Cusco city, you just need to go the terminal terrestre in and chosse one, Another option is take the touristic bus that makes stops on the way to Puno to see some tourist attractions a good company is First class bus company
