I meant a USA winter. I see that there are cruises that go around the tip of SA, and on either side. We are wondering is there is a favorite or best area to go to during Jan, Feb, or March?

Are you asking where about a trip around the Beagle Channel etc in Patagonia? You might want to post under Argentina and Chile.

You can visit both countries, I chose the Chilean side out of Punta Arenas so I could go to Torres del Paine. You can also do this from the Argentina side.
