Salta area tours
 

I will be in the Salta area for a few days next year, and would prefer not driving. I am interested in taking two tours:

* a 2-day tour to the Purmamarca and Tilcara region

* a 1-day private tour around the Cafayate area

Can any of you make any tour or guide recommendations?

I agree with avrooster I doubt you will find anyone who knows the area better than Flintstones. It is an amazing part of the world!

I took a one day private tour from Federico Norte to Cachi and surrounds from Salta and thought he was very good--knowledgeable, spoke perfect English and had a nice comfortable 4 x 4 vehicle. He does longer tours too. This is his website
