Peru & Bolivia (Cusco, Macchu Picchu, Puno, Copacabana, La Paz, Uyuni)

Two early 30somethings headed on a trip through the Inka empire with the following itinerary:

Our trip is finally approaching and the itinerary looks the following:

Day 1: 3 flights and 1 taxi ride later, arrive in Urubamba around noon, relax
Day 2: Tour Pisco & Ollantaytambo
Day 3: Train/Hike Inka Trail
Day 4: Macchu/Wayna Picchu, train back to Urubamba, arrive 8pm
Day 5: Cusco All Day Sightseeing
Day 6: Half day Cusco, 4:45pm flight to Juliaca, 8pm arrive in Puno
Day 7: AM tour to Uros islands, 2:30pm bus to Copacabana
Day 8: AM half day trip to Isla del Sol, return back and friends pick-up from La Paz
Day 9: La Paz relax day/family
Day 10: La Paz (Half day Tiwanaku tour)
Day 11: La Paz sighseeing
Day 12: 7AM flight Uyun, 4x4 Salt Flats Jeep tour
Day 13: 4x4 Salt Flats Jeep tour
Day 14: 4x4 Salt Flats Jeep tour, evening flight to La Paz
Day 15: 8AM flight to La Paz, La Paz
Day 16: La Paz
Day 17: Flight home

Have a couple of questions:
1. What's the best way to see the Uros for a morning tour?
2. Is there a preferred bus to Copacabana from Puno? Are there any immigration issues on the border?
3. Is there a preferred morning tour to Isla del Sol, or should we go at it alone?
4. Is there a preferred tour agency for the Uyuni Jeep tour? Would love to stay in the salt hotel.

Tnx!

Sergey

1. All Ways Travel is a good operator for tours to Uros.
2. There are a few Puno to Copacabana buses. Find a "tourist bus" for best comfort. Your Puno hotel can help you make arrangements (also for above).
3. Go to the Copacabana dock. You can buy your tickets for the morning boats to Isla del Sol with or without guide service.
4. Lots of operators do the Salt Flats tour to Uyuni & lagoons. Some companies pool their passengers together into 1 jeep. Make sure to ask for an English-speaking guide or driver if you don't speak Spanish. You'll only be in the salt flats on day 1, the other days will be in the highlands to see volanoes, multi-colored lagoons, and awesome rock formations.
Red Planet Expeditions, Blue Line Service are recommended agencies. Some salt hotels also provide tour services.

Notes:
Day 2 is Pisac, not Pisco.
Book the 2-day Inca Trail well in advance. You'll need an Inca Trail permit and these sell out quickly.

Happy travels
