Nuqui Colombia

We are headed down in February of 2018. We have 3 days and 3 nights. Our arrival day is late which leaves no time for exploring besides a night walk on the beach. We are staying with a wonderful woman who speaks English and has lived in colombia for years, recently moving to Nuqui. She will translate for us and help with local guides, etc.

We want to snorkel - any places from beach or offshore that are not to miss? We don't mind hiring a boat for this.

Hiking - are there certain trails we should make sure to explore? Waterfalls or areas to see things like sloths, herons, etc?

Boat trips up river to see local communities?

Non touristy (not at airport) areas to buy things to bring back such as: painting, crafts, pottery, carvings, etc from local people?

We've been told about bioluminescent plankton and fungi, these are both high on our list.

Any other tips we would greatly appreciate!
