Nicaragua

Hello, we are going to Nicaragua in March of 2023. I have started doing some research and I know we have to be on hyper alert for theft. Does anyone have recommendations for best places to visit? Thanks!

Nicaragua is in Central not South America. You will get more responses if you post your question there

I recommend visiting Granada and Leon. From Granada you can book daytours to the volcanos of Momacho and Masaya an tours by boat on the lake. The volcano of Cerro Negro is also worth a visit on a day tour from Leon. Cerro Negro is famous for the volcano boarding.
