Mindo for amateurs
Greetings!
My daughter and I are going to be in/near Quito for the last week of June, after spending 2 weeks visiting friends in the Galapagos. Having been spoiled by the good-natured fauna of the Galapagos, what do you recommend for a great two day trip into the Cloud Forest?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Amy!
It takes about two hours to drive to El Pahuma Orchid Reserve and Mindo-Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve. At the Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve you can find tours that offer zip lining and tubing activities: http://www.anywhereecuador.com/destinations/quito/tours
There's a lot to see in Mindo, you might want to consider an overnight trip.
Happy travels

Thank you! Sachatamaia is on my short list. Daughter will no doubt love the zip lining. I have been waffling about leaving the Galapagos early and heading to the Napo Wildlife Centre, but decided against it for this trip. Thanks for the links!
