Marko, a lot of people like Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo, better than the Sanctuary.

Inkaterra has a second level brand now in Aguas Calientes, El Mapi.

Sumaq also gets good reviews. Both Inkaterra MP Pueblo and Sumaq are Fodors Choice hotels.

Hi.

I stayed at the Tambo del Inka, a Starwood Luxury Collection property in Urubamba, and was elated with my choice. It may be my favorite hotel to date (out of several hundreds), its central location was ideal for exploring the Sacred Valley and its private train station for the Vistadome rendered traveling to/from Aguas Calientes easy and hassle-free.

If money is no object, here is another vote for Tambo del Inka. It's a private and luxurious oasis.
