Machu Picchu tickets

When searching for tickets on the official website, when I selected the most common route, route 2 classic route, the message that popped up was, "Actualmente no hay boletos para la ruta seleccionada. Intenta con otra selección." Does this mean tickets for 2025 have not been released for sale yet, or that tickets have already been sold out? Should I just acquiesce to skipping it (pretending the site is not worth it)? Is it still worth going to Cusco and Ollantaytmbo without Machu Picchu? Or should I redo my itinerary and go to the sites near Trujillo and northern Peru (pretending Machu is over rated)? I got a reply to my first little e-mail to the organization that sells the tickets with something about tickets being available soon. My second little e-mail about whether tickets have not been released yet or are already sold out, has not been answered. I was searching the Spanish site. I didn't try selecting English yet.

If you were told that tickets will be available soon, why wouldn't you believe that?

If you check Tripadvisor someone posted that January 15 will be the release date. Possibly yes, or they may not get their act together. I imagine that the entire IT department has already taken off for Christmas holidays, lol...

You are not even going until July, right?

It is definitely worth going to Machu Picchu.
