Luggage storage at Quito airport?
 

We leave on Saturday for a 3+ week long holiday in Ecuador. We are taking books and supplies to friends in the Galapagos Islands after a week in the Andean highlands. Would prefer not to have to haul two extra duffel bags around. Our flight (layover from Lima) arrives after 2 am in Quito, and return to the airport from Otavalo.

Yes, there is now. I didn't use it, since most if not all hotels will store it for free.

Thanks mlgb. I'd prefer not to return all the way to my hotel in downtown Quito coming from Otavalo, just to pick up the luggage. A week, though; don't know that I want to store two duffel bags for $85-ish (best case scenario.) Maybe just let the drivers deal with it and try not to trip over them in the rooms.

If you're not flying I would just bring them to your hotels and if there isn't enough room ask that they store them during your stay.
