Lima Foodie Resource(s)

Doing research for my upcoming trip (third visit to Mistura and multiples to Lima).

Came across this website, which I've not seen before, Lima Sabe. You can sort by geography, type of cuisine, and it has also different "routes", such as "Bars and Taverns in the Center".

It is in Spanish but includes photos, maps, gps coordinates and of course there's always Google Translate.

Another resource I've actually used, atrapelo.pe allows you to make reservations, has reviews, and sometimes offers discounts with reservations made through their website.

A general resource, in English, with a fantastic amount of info, is limaeasy.com including descriptions of typical meals, markets etc.
I'd recommend always to double check before setting out to a places, such as a small museum, as it is not 100% up to date.

For Mistura, the link is mistura.pe and some information might be useful even if you can't attend.

Thanks for sharing mlgb. Have used limaeasy before but this is new one and looks very good. Always seeking out new places to eat. In fact currently trying to decide whether to find somewhere around El Circuito de Mágico del Agua for dinner or to retur to Barranco. Any ideas?

It was several years ago that I did the water park, and the only choices nearby were some kind of chicken restaurant and sidewalk vendors grilling anticuchos!

I may have done the chicken. Hope it is better now.

Found another reservation website is www.mesa247.pe
Although they don't offer discounts, they include some higher end /more trendy spots such as 1087 Bistro. Also links to a menu with prices which I couldn't find on the restaurants own website.
