Lima Airport transit time from Cusco to Quito ?

Hey guys,

Need your expert opinion on this one.

I recently purchased flts from Cusco to Lima to Quito all on TACA airways from Orbitz.com.

Originally i noticed that we have 1 hour and 28 mins of transit time in Lima and did not think too much about it. I thought Orbitz would be smart enough to caluculate a "safe" transit time . But then on second thought, i researched a little online and some people were saying that it might not be enough. What do you guys think?

Below is my connecting flights on August 4th. We have to make it to Quito on the 4th because we have a cruise to catch on the 5th.

Tks.

Ken

First piece of advice is unrelated to what you asked: Never reveal so much information about yourself on an Internet forum such as this. I'm talking about flights, dates, and seats. That's too much personal information that could identify you to a stranger.

It's all going to hinge on whether or not Taca at CUZ can give you boarding passes for your Aerogal flight and can transfer your bags at LIM. Aerogal partners with Taca these days. Let's hope they can. At the very least, you'll have to make your way from the domestic section of the LIM terminal to the international section and clear security. If you have to pick up your bags at LIM and go to the Taca check-in counter to get your boarding passes for you UIO flight, then it'll be tight.

Hi Ken: How did this end up? Did you make your connection? We're considering the same flights. Were you able to check in all the way to Quito in Cuzco? Check bags all the way through in Cuzco? Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks!
