Lamb in Buenos Aires Restaurant
We are in BA now and enjoying the many restaurants. Last night we ate at Rio Alba in Palerma based on Fodor topics and reviews and enjoyed it immensely. However, we would like to find a really good restaurant that serves lamb and would appreciate any suggestions so we can go tonight or tomorrow night.
Thank you |
I did a search of this website http://www.guiaoleo.com.ar/ using "cordero" (lamb) as a keyword and this is what I got:

OP:
I have heard very good reports about wine tasting at Anuva; here is a link to some info. http://exposebuenosaires.com/blog/anuva-wine-tastings/ My two favorite places for EMPENADAS are: CUMANA on Rodriguez Pena just below Santa Fe & El SANJUANINO on Posada, just before Callao They have other regional specialities as well. Enjoy yourselves; Oh, and as Scarlett mentioned, San Antonio de Areco is only a 1 hour bus ride away and you are in the Pampas in a charming, small, gaucho town. Estancias are nearby and can be enjoyed for a day or overnight. Here is the link to my Fodor's Trip Report: http://www.fodors.com/community/sout...t-4th-week.cfm |
MY APOLOGIES: This was for a different POST.

Marnie, Marnie... Remember you are my favorite candidate for BA DE, if they ever have that here!
Just kidding. LOL!! BTW, our EmpAnadas are great! More LOL!!! |
LOL, Marnie .. We were right by Cumana yesterday, we bought salmon at our favorite fish market on Rod Pena .. I wanted to go have some lunch but had that fish with me :o
|
I see cordero on menus everywhere .. I think it will not be difficult at all to find.
|
I would recommend Sarkis on Thames. It it Armenian grilled lamb that is great. Only caution is the portions are huge so you can share one main course for 2 people

Thank you AV, you always keep me on track.
