Is this a good itinerary?

There is an offer for the Galapagos Explorer for USD 2305 for 5 nights, with the following itinerary:

Tuesday :
Arrival San Cristobal Is: Cerro Brujo
Wednesday :
Española Is. Gardner Bay, Gardner Islet & Osborne Islet - Suarez Point
Thursday :
Santa Cruz Is: Bahia Ballena & Eden - Rabida
Friday :
Santa Cruz Is: Charles Darwin Station - South PLaza
Saturday :
Baltra Transfer Airport

i had read that Genovesa, Isabella and Ferdinandina and Espanola were the best islands to visit , but wonder whether this itinerary is a worthy sbubstitute?

Could anyone help with comments/ critique?
Thanks

If you want to see frigate birds (red bulging sack under throat that sometimes is inflated); blue footed boobies and waved albatross, along with some marine iguanas; a unique red sand beach, and giant tortoises that are in large enclosures and not wild, this itinerary offers a nice variety.

Any snorkeling?

Probably no red footed boobies, no Galapagos penguins, no fur seals but you will see lots of sea lions, no massive mess (group term) of iguanas. Less likely to see whales.

For the average visitor who wants to see/photograph some of the famed Galapagos critters, experience the islands, and not spend a whole lot of time there, this should be a good trip. A real nature enthusiast should spend more time.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of itineraries covering Isabella, Fernandina as well, but they are a lot more expensive.

If the trip is Jan-Mar, then no waved albatross probably.

Costs and what you see are always a trade off. If the other itineraries are too expensive and you are content with a nice sampling of Galapagos, then do this trip.
