Why is it that you want to go to Venezuela? What's the attraction?

I'm not the OP, and I haven't been, but from what I've read the Caribbean beaches are quite something, although personally I'm more interested in the Andean region around Merida.

Venezuela has the longest caribbean beaches of all countries, the highest waterfall, the unique orinoco Delta, the andeans, the Gran Sabana, the coral island and many more interesting things like a desert, the llanos with more than 300 animals.

Venezuela is pretty dangerous, I would not recomend backpacking, Caracas alone has 75 murders every weekend!, go to Aruba, Bonaire, or go directly to los Roques by pasing the rest of thw country!

It`s dangerours only in the center of the big cities, when you are traveling it`s like any other country in south america. But the nature in Venezuela is unique.
