WE are meeting there at 12: 30.
PLease post here if you will be able to join us.
I´m looking forward to it.

Hi Kodi and Condu,
Glad you are meeting at that lovely terrace restaurant attached to the Museo Evita. We lunched there while in B A and really liked it. Great choice Condu. Say hi to anyone else I may know who joins you.
Afterwards go through the museum. It's very interesting and the staff/guides are very knowledgeable.
I miss being there and am still going through withdrawl.
Enjoy!

Only one drink, Kodi? LOL!
Hola, MsLizzzy.
We only have a couple days, left in sunny BA.
Soon, we will back on the wet, west coast of Canada.
Have you had a chance to wear your red shoes? Or will you
have to return to BA to wear them?

Have you started drinking Kodi because Condu is right. A bottle of delicious Santa Julia Reserva Malbec would do me just fine. LOL Please let me make a toast to all of us travelers who have enjoyed the many wonders of Argentina this month. Salute! 'Don't cry for me Argentina'
I have only been looking at my shoes, Condu, but maybe will wear them on Valentine's Day. I would love to return and take more dancing lessons. Oh, did I tell you, I bought a Spanish version of Pride and Prejudice and hope it will help me with my Spanish lessons. Also a Tango Karoke dvd.
About the wet, west coast of Canada. You are more than welcome to come and visit me in central Canada with snow -20 at night. LOL
Have often thought to visit Van Island in the Spring when your flowers come out.

As you all know, I have no trouble knocking back Malbec! LOL!
MsLizzy, the crocus & snow drops will already be out. The temperatures are around 10 degrees C. The west coast had the warmest January in history. By the time we get home the daffodils will be blooming! You are welcome to visit us on our beautiful island, anytime. I will pass on visiting you in the winter! LMAO! I will come when the maple trees show their true colours! (Note the Canadian spelling.)
Wear your red shoes, tomorrow to celebrate Valentine's Day!
I will send you an email about our latest adventures.

Hello there Kodi, I have sure been thinking of you and I am over the top pleased to read that your trip has been so wonderful!
After you are home and settled in let me know and we can catch up on our lives. In the meantime I send my good wishes and as our dear Giovanna stated..drink some Malbec for me!

Since we all get along so well I'm already thinking of the next GTG . . . Toronto? San Francisco? I need an excuse to travel west this summer. Napa Valley and more wine close by sounds good to me. LOL What do you think Giovanna?
My Red Suede shoes are on and the tango music is playing.
Happy Valentines Day!

Sounds good to me!
Look forward to seeing those red shoes and especially the lady wearing them again.
Is anyone going to post pictures for our GTG in BsAs? Hanging my head in shame, I don't know how to do it or I'd post the ones we took.

Our GTG at the garden cafe at Evita's museum was a success.
Laura and Rita our Porteña guests are both members of 5W.
Amazingly, Kodi had already been in contact with Laura and arranged to take tours with her. We had already been on tours with this informative and energetic lady.
An even more amazing coincidence, Kodi and I emailed each other simultaneously, before the luncheon.
We also, met a Porteño man who was taking Kodi on a tour after the GTG.
Kodi: What was the name of the organization that he belonged to, called?
We have been having our lunches on our deck looking out over Departure Bay & Namaimo Habour since, we have been home. The days are so sunny and warm. We can not believe this is February!
Every day, after lunch we go for a long walk and see all the early spring flowers blooming...ah, the joys of living in
Lotus Land!
