Interesting Aerolineas Argentinas Baggage Allowance Info

I just booked a multi-destination booking with Aerolineas Argentinas, including Montevideo, Uruguay. I was concerned because I would only be allowed 15K on the domestic portion of the trip, while the international portion allowed 20K. In my world 5K is a big deal.

Well, I came to find out as I was paying for it, that because my itinerary was all booked together and included said international destination, that I could bring 20K on all my flights! Yay! Just though it was a good thing to pass on!

Certainly makes sense! On our recent trip, we traveled from LAX to Santiago, Chile on LAN Chile and were allowed two bags each free of charge. Also were given two meals, free wine, free earphones and incredibly nice treatment. Was wonderful to be on an airline that didn't nickel and dime us (more like dollar and dollar us) and really seemed to care about our comfort!

Glad Lan treated you well. On the trip during Christmas...that I didn't get to go on...my friends were treated by Lan to severe schedule changes and cancelations of flights and were very unhelpful in trying to get them on more convenient flights...one of which ended up with a 7 hour layover for a 35 minute flight. But, I am sure that was an isolated incident. I figured that I'd give AA a try and I'll let you know how it goes.

To be honest I have flown LAN tons of times they have been always very nice. Everything has been tops and I have flown LAN in tourist, business and even first ( having been up graded
from Business) In my experience it is a great airline...

Of course I believe that someone might have had a bad experience but I believe this was an exemption.
