"Elsewhere", the following was posted by a first time poster about our dear forum member MarnieWDC http://www.fodors.com/community/profile/marniewdc/ who has helped so many people both here and "elsewhere" with their travel plans to Argentina:

"As someone who has lived in Buenos Aires for years (Palermo Botánico) you sound like a fraud and phony who has never been to Buenos Aires but rather you get your information from the internet and pass it on to others as though you are an 'expert' regarding Buenos Aires. I don't believe a word that you say."

Believe it or not, even though such a post is obviously against the rules, it has remained there for hours.

I believe it would make Marnie quite happy to get some support in this forum, ideally from ALL the people she has helped over the last few years.

So, I expect MANY, MANY posts.

Marnie is THE most helpful poster. The TA "guy" is a fraud.

The offending post "elsewhere" has been deleted, as it was bound to be, but my point was that it stood there for several HOURS.

Yes, missed that! I wonder what was behind it because Marnie always gives good advice based on personal experience and is always polite even when others are not.

Well I'll be darned....I am currently in France and have been internet challenged for the last several days SO I MISSED THE WHOLE THING ! Lucky no ?
