Iguazu and Iguaçu

Dear,
Pls would you share your recommendations on the following:
1) Is 300 R$ a "reasonable" price for a taxi to drive us from our hotel (near entrance of falls park on Brazilian side) to park entrance on Argentinean side in the morning, and return in the evening?
2) Any tour recommendation on Brazilian side to have at least a boat ride?
3) Where is the Birds Park relative to the entrance of the falls park?
Many thanks!

1) IF you're concerned enough about money to ask, take the local public bus.
2) The only boat tour on the Brazil side is the Macuco Safari.
3) Very near.

Is it better to book the Macuco tour in advance (I will be there in October) or can it wait for the day before?
Is there a best time in the day to do this, i.e. morning vs. afternoon vs. evening?
PS. On 1) I am not concerned if the fare is fair! I also know I am a tourist for the local people. I have traveled enough around the world to realise this!

I too would take the bus, but if you're willing to throw money around. . .

The entrance to the Bird Park is across the road from the entrance to the Falls.
