how best to spend 3 weeks in June

Hi, we are considering honeymoon in south america from mid June 2011. We will have 3 wks and would love to hear of any recommended itineraries. We would love to start with a few days relaxation after the mayhem of the wedding. Then over the 3 weeks get in some good beach time, scenery, maybe a days scuba and get to see or experience something you don't get everywhere else. We'd like a few days of luxury along the way but would prefer more unique accommodation to the large commercial hotels. We don't mind a bit of travel between locations but not too hectic. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I would like ot see Rio for 2 or 3 days but don't know where else to go at that time of year or whether its best to leave it to another time. Please help.

www.brazilnuts.com your best bet pick up Iguazu and

Florianopolis www.nexussurf.com 42 perfect beaches

SA will have better weather than SA in June

I suggest Buzios in Brazil or Mancora in Peru for beach destinations. DHC Suites in Mancora is beautiful and the area has nice weather year round. From either of these places you can get in some great travel experiences like visiting Machu Picchu, or Rio and Salvador de Bahia.

Sorry, I am a bit confused. Will the rainy season be in central america or south america in Mid June?? We will want nice warm sunny beach weather.
