Good Lima City Tours

Can anyone recommend a reputable and reasonable priced city tour company for Lima? We have about 1 day to cover Lima and so are looking for a one day tour
that covers all important places in Lima.

We took a private full day tour with Renato at "Taxi Lima Peru" http://www.taxilimaperu.com/tours/tours.html As we had a full day available before our late flight back home Renato picked us up at our hotel right after we had breakfast. We had a wonderful day and evening with him. Take a look at his city tours for an overview, you adjust plans as time and your interest allow. We had a great time and this made Lima a place we remember very fondly. I did not think much of Lima after our first day but this tour totally changed our impression. Hope you have a great trip- John & Robin

Thanks a lot for the info.
How much did you pay for the 1 day trip?
Do they offera tour guide in English?
We are a family of four.

Yes they do tours in English. Renato spent quite some time in the USA and speaks very good clear English. You should request a quote on the web site, also read the testimonials, I think they are genuine and the one I posted was not changed . We paid an hourly charge that included Renato and his car and he dropped us at the airport for our flight home. I think we paid about 10 usd an hour and we did leave a pretty good tip as we were very happy. It was a lot like having a knowledgeable good friend show us around for the day and then dropping us at the airport.
