Good Lima City Tours
 

Can anyone recommend a reputable and reasonable priced city tour company for Lima? We have about 1 day to cover Lima and so are looking for a one day tour
that covers all important places in Lima.

We took a private full day tour with Renato at "Taxi Lima Peru" http://www.taxilimaperu.com/tours/tours.html As we had a full day available before our late flight back home Renato picked us up at our hotel right after we had breakfast. We had a wonderful day and evening with him. Take a look at his city tours for an overview, you adjust plans as time and your interest allow. We had a great time and this made Lima a place we remember very fondly. I did not think much of Lima after our first day but this tour totally changed our impression. Yes they do tours in English. Renato spent quite some time in the USA and speaks very good clear English. You should request a quote on the web site, also read the testimonials, I think they are genuine and the one I posted was not changed . We paid an hourly charge that included Renato and his car and he dropped us at the airport for our flight home. I think we paid about 10 usd an hour and we did leave a pretty good tip as we were very happy. It was a lot like having a knowledgeable good friend show us around for the day and then dropping us at the airport.
