Good Experience in Aerolineas Argentinas !
I've often posted to emphasize my distrust of Aerolineas Argentinas.over the years. While their flights may still be too frequently late, delayed or cancelled, and their PR pretty bad, we flew from BsAs to Montevideo without a hitch...not only without a hitch, but with excellent, professional service from start to finish.
This is a very short flight, less than an hour, but still all the rigamarole involved in flying is extant - and AA did a very fine job of it. We chose to fly, rather than take BQB, because the schedule was much better for us....we just crossed our fingers that they would stay within reasonable range of the expected landing time -.and we even arrived a few minutes early. So, I felt compelled to post this (ONE TIME) experience to balance my earlier, negative posts. Bon Voyage ! |
Great!
But I would still avoid Aerolíneas, if other alternatives are available. Have a great time in Uruguay. |
I suppose statistically even AA had to get it rights once!: :-)

Yes my friends, even AA, some of the time. And the pilots are terrific.

No responses on TA, even though you posted there over two hours earlier!
We are nicer, here, but we don't have DEs. LOL!!! |
Now you have an answer on TA.
It suggests AA behaved because they knew they had a renowned TA DE on board. LOL!!! |
That's good to hear, it's one of the three options I have flying from Sydney to South America and often significantly cheaper than the other two options. The other two are Qantas and LAN. I've found LAN really good. Qantas used to fly into BA, but it's switched back to Santiago, it's OK too.

Oh dear, Susan7....please note that it is on the short-haul, domestic flights that AA has improved. On the long-haul, international flights, I would suggest paying the extra fare, if it's affordable... LAN is so much better for such flights.
